Chevin TLI Road Race Series - Aldborough Circuit

After a gruelling race on Sunday in the Prem Calendar, Callum still had a bit left in the legs to go with the break after all four groups came together.  The move came on the 2nd lap up the climb to Aldborough, when Lee and Steve attacked off the front.  Watching the move Scott and Mark Thwaites came through, seeing the danger, Ewan & Callum Sewell jumped across and several riders went away.

The pace proved just a bit to much for Ewan and Giles Piddock and they came back into the main field.

In the final sprint, with tired legs, Callum couldn't quite match the speed of Scott or Mark Thwaites, but bearing in mind the super hard race on Sunday, he came over the finish line in a very respectable 5th place.

The main bunch sprint was taken by Giles Piddock, which put him in the Yellow Jersey, Mike Selkeld came in 8th and Trevor Larcombe came in 10th, taking the lead in the over 50's category.
