Keith Simpson Memorial Road Race

The early break of two riders, John Doherty and Jack Ibbotson, were never going to get caught and John took the win. 

Back in chasing group Chris Clark and Callum Sewell worked exceptionally hard to bring back the two riders.  It took its toll on Chris and he pulled from the race, Callum battled on, but with Giles Piddock and Scott Thwaites in his break he took a calculated risk and went for the break to take third place.

A very brave move but Scott and Giles were having none of it and brought him back just before the finish line.  Callum still took a very respectable 8th place.

Meanwhile back in the group, Ewan Sewell and Sam Ward tried to bridge the gap to the group, but the distance was just to much.  In the end they finished in the Peleton.
